Godaddy Sellbrite the Right E Commerce Software


GoDaddy also announced it had acquired Sellbrite, the multichannel management platform powering the Marketplaces. Sellbrites channel management software was recently acquired by GoDaddy, the leader in helping entrepreneurs and small businesses succeed online.

Sellbrite has enabled tens of millions of orders, accounting for billions in sales, and is a leading application to list to markets across a range of eCommerce platforms. Sellbrite allows brands & retailers to easily list & sell products on multiple online sales channels, and enjoy centralized control of inventory & orders.

SkuVault will integrate with Sellbrite Channel Management Software to help sellers sell inventory on multiple channels with full visibility. As a part of GoDaddy, Sellbrite will continue to support small business customers across e-commerces other platforms -- not just those using GoDaddys GoCentral online store. Sellbrite Co-Founder & CEO Brian Nolan added that his team will be working on more widespread integrations for Sellbrite throughout GoDaddys products, as well as serving existing customers through the stand-alone product. He also said he and his team would join GoDaddy.

Acquired supports GoDaddys broader eCommerce strategy, helping customers sell anywhere, sell everything - physical products, digital goods, and services. Now, GoDaddy customers can shop for domains, create online stores, and seamlessly integrate selling on the Marketplace into GoDaddys domain. U.S. sellers with a GoDaddy shop now have the ability to connect to up to three marketplaces and handle up to 50 orders per month, with additional plans available for more marketplace connections, higher order volumes, and the ability to synchronize orders and inventory more frequently.

GoDaddy has remained a site-builder since it launched in 1997, but now is a larger operation, offering businesses of all sizes everything from a basic digital storefront to selling on other marketplaces. The end goal with including omnichannel sales with programs such as Sellbrite from GoDaddy is ultimately increasing sales. With seamless programs like Sellbrite, which allows you to manage and monitor your inventory all in one platform, you can easily track all your sales with ease, and cash that cash.

And the thing that we have been really focused on with talking with GoDaddy is this after closing, this is the place we are really developing the value together and this is the place we are going to really work out what is Sellbrite could do within the hands of their enterprise development teams, how it can be like this, which is a really interesting conversations that can also have, but there is a whole range of capabilities and skill sets that I think we could take into an organization, which has...there are opportunities to sort of augment the capabilities they have already, which is an amazing organization. Right, and filter out some of the wrong people as well, and there is a whole variety of reasons why any commerce brand would not be a good fit for Sellbrite and Sellbrite would not be a good fit for that job, and that is totally fine, and a lot of times they are -- fast forward a year and we are a better fit or they have outgrown the need for a solution like Sellbrite, and it is just like kind of timing, and a lot of times it is just their focus is on something that is a little bit outside of our focus, but those things change as well.
